Faculty and Staff Transportation

Ever had to be somewhere for a meeting that required you to secure airline reservations and
go through about four hours of security checks and plane changes? Maybe you have to fly to
Atlanta to catch a plane to Dallas that costs you valuable time and money to your department.
Two meetings in one day at destinations not served by airlines? We have the solution.

The University's Aviation Department provides transportation services to many University of Oklahoma Departments. Our regular customers include University Physicians Medical Group, Men's and Women's Basketball, the Athletic Department - Football, Alumni Office,  University Outreach, and the University of Oklahoma Regents.

Other departments within the University as well as other state of Oklahoma Agencies such as the State Board of Regents and the Superintendent of Schools have utilized the department's aircraft for university or state related business transportation.

The aviation department, located at Max Westheimer Airport in Norman, Oklahoma has recently added a Beech Baron 58 and a King Air C90/B to our fleet of new Cherokee Warrior IIIs.  The Baron and King Air will add to the luxury and the affordability that F.A.S.T. Flight travel will bring to your trip.

Program Advantages

  • Saves your department time and money

  • Direct flights to many locations throughout the U.S. – Many of which are not served by the airlines!!

  • Cost of travel based on trip mileage, not how many people are traveling

  • Flight times are on your schedule vs. the airline schedule

  • Depart from the airport of your choice – convenient local airport such as Westheimer in Norman, vs. busy Will Rogers Airport

  • Complete the entire trip in one day saving hotel costs

  • No check-in or security lines

  • Flights may be booked for same day travel!!  First come First Served!!
