Aviation Management
As a student in Aviation Management,
you are required to earn a private pilot
through commercial pilot--single engine
certificate. In addition, your course
work will include business, management,
marketing, and management information
system courses. This option will allow
you to take a wide variety of electives.

* Both Aviation Management Degree Options have a "General Business" minor built into the program assuming students graduate with the GPA requirement set forth by the Michael F. Price College of Business in their minor coursework.
Professional Pilot
As a Professional Pilot student, you
are required to earn a private pilot
through commercial pilot--multi engine
certificate. You will also complete a
Turbine Transition and a Crew Resource
management course. Your course work will
include a foundation of business and
management courses and you may choose
from a wide variety of electives. OU's

Aviation Minor Options
We now offer minor
options in Aviation. Options are
available for Single-Engine Commercial
Pilot, Multi-Engine Commercial Pilot,
Air Traffic Control, and Aviation Management.
Get your pilot certificate and class
credit! Air Traffic Control is the only Aviation minor option that an Aviation major may pursue.
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the Aviation Program,
you must first be admitted to the University
of Oklahoma. Inquiries concerning admission

All first-year students are enrolled
in University College. To be admitted
to the Aviation Program from University
College, you must fulfill the following
requirements:
- earn a minimum of 24 hours of college
credit
- possess a combined retention grade
point average of 2.25
Students who meet these minimum requirements
may also be required to satisfy additional
requirements for various Aviation courses.
